Examples of our work

At Sunburst we not only design websites for schools, for businesses and other organisations or for Special Occasions and One-off Events - we also manage and maintain sites for our many clients.

Each website is planned and individually designed, following discussions with our clients - to ensure that we produce a website that is right for them and their particular users.

We build all the pages of each website, checking content as we go. This allows us to ensure the content is written in the best way possible for the web and that the style is consistent across the whole website.

Schools

The following are some of the schools that we either manage a website we designed for them, or we manage an existing website.

Hemswell Cliff Primary School

Website designed and managed by Sunburst Web Management. With this website we wanted to emphasize the feel of the school and highlight the continuing links the school has with it's RAF past.

Stanford Junior and Infants School

Website designed and managed by Sunburst Web Management. Stanford have a special history and the school wanted to showcase that in their site. They also produce loads of photos from the numerous class projects and activities, so there are areas for each class to share these with the outside world.

Whilst their new website was being created, Sunburst also updated their existing site.

Tetney Primary School

Website designed and managed by Sunburst Web Management. We originally started working with Tetney to help run their existing website that they were struggling to stay on top of. We re-structured and re-wrote much of their existing content, with new pages added and out of date information removed.

When the contract with their existing provider expired, the school opted for a new site from ourselves. As well as wanting the school colours to be used, the Head Teacher wanted the sheep from the school badge to feature in the design!

Business and other organisations

Highbank Farm

Website designed and maintained by Sunburst Web Management. Highbank Farm were setting up a brand new veg box scheme in the Vale of Belvoir. They wanted a website that would be an integral part of their business and were particularly keen to make the ordering process as simple as possible for their customers.

We worked with them to design a look that reflected who they were and a site structure that would provide the information their users would need. They also wanted to be able to talk to their customers so we integrated a Blog into their website.

Beckhead Park

Website designed and maintained by Sunburst Web Management. Beckhead Park is a Park Home estate in North Hyjeham, Lincoln. They use their website to not only show off the estate, but also to advertise the new and pre-owned homes they sell. T

heir existing site was failing to stimulate any interest in their Homes and they asked us to advise them on improving their website. After reviewing their website we advised they started again with all new content, layout, structure and domain name (website address). We designed not only the look of their new website but also the site structure. We also helped produce the new content.

Lincolnshire Waldorf Group

Website designed and built by Sunburst Web Management. This pre-school group wanted a platform to advertise their group and it's focus on the natural world, as well as notifying members of activities.

Special Occasions

Looking for an unusual gift or trying to organise a get-together? We can create a website specially for it. We start by finding an appropriate domain name (web address); plan your website - whether you want a simple, single page or a more involved website - and then build and host the website. Jack Is Great!

Website designed and built by Sunburst Web Management. For Jack's 18th birthday he received a business card holder, containing business cards which included a link to www.jackisgreat.info.. We  built a simple, one-page site containing a slideshow of pictures sent in by his family. This present was a huge success, creating amusement and embarrassment in equal measures.

Karen's Birthday

Website designed and maintained by Sunburst Web Management. Using the domain name www.karensbirthday.me, this is a larger birthday site and includes photos, games, music and more. It has been up for a few months now and had makeovers for Christmas and Easter.

Water Lane Street Party

Website designed and maintained by Sunburst Web Management. In the run-up to the Royal Wedding, the organisers of this Street Party used this website to get people enthused, organise preparations and publicise events. The party was a great success and there is already talk of other events in the near future. Using www.waterlane.info, we have been asked to keep the website live so they can use it again.
